The Great Lent

The Feast of Epiphany is one of the Seven Major Feasts of our Lord, celebrated on 11 Tobe of every Coptic year. In it we commemerate the baptism of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. This year, the feast falls on the 20th of January. All are welcome to join us for the Holy Liturgy on this Blessed Day.

Through the Grace of God, the Youth of St Abraam Church will be conducting the annual youth camp! This year, our wonderful Youth have organised a trip to Mount Victoria located an hour's drive out of Sydney on the 22nd-24th of January. For more details, call:

The Great Lent is the preparation of the most important event in the Chuch calendar. It begins with a 47 day period of fasting, followed by 7 days of intense contemplation upon the Sufferings of Our Lord. This all builds up to the climax - The Glorious Resurrection of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. This year, fasting commences on the 7th of March and finishes with Easter on the 30th of April.
